Walter Harrison White, 54, died of a heart attack early Saturday morning while
enroute to Temperanceville VA on business. He was accompanied by his
brother-in-law, Welton Henderson, and a friend. He was stricken about ten miles
from Temperanceville soon after complaining of not getting enough air.

Mr. Henderson called a physician after he arrived in Temperanceville. When Dr.
J. L. De Cormis, Accomac coroner, arrived, Mr. White was dead. He said death was
due to a heart attack.

Funeral service for Mr. White was held Tuesday in the chapel of Riddick’s
Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Dr. J. B. Henderson, pastor of Bank Street Baptist
Church, officiated.

Mr. White was born in Norfolk and was the son of Mrs. Mary L. Tyler and the late
James White.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary L. Henderson;
one brother, Winston Tyler; one nephew, James White; and a niece, Miss Elaine
White.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick’s Funeral Service in charge.
