Virginian Pilot September 12, 1991

Florence Williams White, 88, of the 1100 block of Little Bay Ave., died Sept. 
11, 1991, in her home.
Mrs. White was born in Portsmouth and was the widow of Ira B. White Jr.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Willoughby Beach Garden Club , 
Elizabeth River Power Squadron and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
She was a past president of the Chesapeake Bay Art Association.
She is survived by three grandchildren, including Pamela W. Bell and Ira B. 
White III, both of Virginia Beach, and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Rickers and the Rev. Lou Rouff. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today 
in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
