Warren Snowden White, 40, a native of Norfolk’s Southside was given final 
rites Saturday at St. Thomas AME Zion Church. The Rev. M. L. Beamon 
officiated at the service. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of 
Fitchett Funeral Home.

Mr. White, a television and electronic technician, lived in Brooklyn and 
operated the Hi-Fi Television and Radio Service there. He was the son of 
Lennie L. White Sr. and the late Mrs. Chaney White. He died July 1 at 
Rockaway in New York.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. White is survived by his father, his wife, 
Mrs. Josephine Erby White; two brothers, Ralph A. White of Harrisburg PA, 
and Lennie White Jr. of Norfolk, a sister, Mrs. Vera Smith of Norfolk; two 
sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, a nephew and a niece.
