Norfolk - Joseph H. White, 65, of 1720 Oakfield street, received final rites 
July 31 in Pretlow Funeral Home with the Rev. H. L. Blackwell officiating. 
Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

A Norfolk native, he was a son of William White and Mrs. Ella Hathaway 
White. He died July 28 in a hospital after a long illness.

Mr. White was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

Survivors include three brothers, Darius White of Burlington, NJ, and Nelson 
White and Bernard White of Norfolk.
