The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Sunday January 15, 1933
Mrs. Mary Armistead Sutton White, wife of William S. White and daughter of 
the late Dr. William T. and Anne Peyton Outlaw Sutton, died at her 
residence, 524 Boissevain avenue, yesterday afternoon at 5:25 o'clock.  Mrs. 
White was a native of North Carolina and had been a resident of Norfolk 
since childhood.  She was a member of the Episcopal Church.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by one son, William S. White, Jr.; one sister, Miss 
Anne Peyton Sutton, and one brother, Dr. Stark A. Sutton, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 
o'clock with Chaplain William E. Callender, U.S.P.H.S., officiating.  
Interment will be private.  Friends are requested by the family to kindly 
omit flowers.
