Mrs. Bertha White

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha White, who died at her residence, 73 
Fauquier street, were held Sunday at St. Marks Christian Church at 1:30 
p.m., the pastor, the Rev. R. J. Alston, officiating.

Mrs. White had been a resident of this community for 24 years, and served on 
the usher board of the church for many years.

She is survived by her husband, George White;  daughter, Sally White;  one 
sister, Mrs. Ora Bunch, of Salisbury NC and other relatives.

Interment was in Mt Olive Cemetery, with the Chatman Funeral Home directing.
