Virginian Pilot May 5,1964

Mrs. Evelyn Prince White, of 1217 Gates Ave., wife of W. Harrison White, died 
Monday at 4 a.m. in a hospital.
Mrs. White was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. Her parents were John T. Prince 
and Mrs. Elizabeth V. Ryan.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, William H. White Jr. of 
Norfolk and Robert D.W. White of Palestine, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Charles 
B. Oldfield III and Miss Marilyn O. White of Norfolk, Mrs. James L. Mansfield of 
Boston and Mrs. Thomas L. Johnson Jr. of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada; three 
sisters, Mrs. Elmer A. Rumfelt, Mrs. S. Raymond Wicks and Miss Frances Ryan and 
a brother, James E. Prince, all of Norfolk; and 10 grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30 
A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
