Virginian Pilot December 15, 1970

Mrs. Audrey Pugh White, 49, of 1334 Stockley Gardens died in her home Monday 
evening.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Florence Cherry Pugh and the late Russell C. Pugh and 
the wife of James Redmond White.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three sons, James R. White, 
Jr., Russell T. White and Christopher M. White all of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. 
Thelma P. Barber of Chesapeake; a brother, Russell C. Pugh of Portsmouth and a 
grandson.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight 
at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday at 
10 a.m. by the Rev. Paul T. Gaughan.

MRS. AUDREY PUGH WHITE, wife of James Redmond White and daughter of Mrs. 
Florence Cherry Pugh, and the late Russell C. Pugh, in the 50th year of her age. 
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for a requiem mass to be celebrated Wednesday at 10 o’clock. 
Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
