Virginian Pilot May 2, 1976

Mrs. Betty Sophia White of Leckie & Hatton Streets died Saturday in a hospital.
A native of Pottstown, Pa., she was retired from Maryview Hospital Coffee Shop. 
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Rose Resavage of Pottstown; and a brother, 
Walter Resavage of West Palm Beach, Fla.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 
Norfolk. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be 
held at the funeral home tonight at 6.

WHITE, MRS. BETTY S0PHIA - In a Portsmouth hospital, Saturday, MRS. BETTY SOPHIA 
WHITE, wife of the late Albert L. White. A funeral service will be held in H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments today, Monday, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
