Norfolk Ledger Dispatch August 3, 1963

William Commodore White, 79, of 1212 W. 38th St., Norfolk, retired sheet metal 
worker, died Friday in a Norfolk hospital. He was the husband of Margaret Mary 
White.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Byers and Mrs. Vernon Wilkerson 
of Norfolk; one son, Samuel E. White of Eastville.
Funeral is being arranged by H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

WHITE, WILLIAM COMMODORE - At a local hospital, Friday, Aug. 2, 1963, at 8:30 
p.m., WILLIAM COMMODORE WHITE, husband of Mrs. Margaret Mary Etz White, in the 
80th year of his age. Services at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, MONDAY MORNING, at 11 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
