Norfolk Ledger Dispatch December 22, 1913

James White died yesterday afternoon at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital, having 
been in failing health for some time. He had been a resident of Norfolk over 
twenty years and was well known and highly esteemed. He was superintendent of the 
Raleigh Square and Vendome apartments. His niece will arrive here tonight from New 
York State. The funeral occurs at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, Rev. A.J. Halblieb officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
