Last rites were held Sunday, Nov. 29 at Graves Funeral Chapel for Howard White 
who died in a Philadelphia hospital on Nov. 22.  The Rev. Lawrence Smith was the 
officiating minister.

Mr. White, a retired shortshoreman, lived at 2839 W. Albert street.  He was a 
son of the late William and Dolly White and the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth White.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alease Wynn of New 
York and Mrs. Dolly Porach of Norfolk;  two sons, Melvin and William White and 
one brother, William White.
