ALICE H. WHITE, MOTHER of JURIST, DIES IN RADFORD Mrs. Alice H. White, 84, widow of Ryland C. White and mother of Judge B.D. White, of the Princess Anne County Circuit Court, died Wednesday night at 8 o'clock at Radford. She had been in failing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. White had lived in Norfolk and Princess Anne County for a number of years. She moved to Radford about five years ago. She was widely known in this section and was highly esteemed. Judge White is her only son but she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W.J. Baxter, Mrs. J.O. Moore and Mrs. C.H. Ferebee. Funeral services, which will be private, will be held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery this morning. The services will be conducted by the Rev. M.E. Travers, rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Kempsville, Princess Anne County. Friends have been requested by the family to omit flowers.
