Norfolk - Mrs. Minnie White of 1426 Buck road died in a hospital.

A native of Edenton, NC, she was the wife of Michael White Sr. and a daughter of 
the late Mr. and Mrs. William Smith.  

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Michael White Jr., and three 
daughters, Miss Glendora White, Mrs. Carolyn Jones, and Mrs. Dorothy Jones, all 
of Norfolk;  five sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. Viola Pettus, Mrs. Ruth Martin, 
and Mrs. Beatrice Norman of Norfolk, and Mrs. Della Brown of Willingboro, NJ;  
and nine grandchildren.  Services were held in Olive Grove Church by the Rev. 
Raymond Dean.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge 
of arrangements.
