Virginia Beach - William A. (Fish) White of 1604 Cypress Ave., the husband of 
Mrs. Louise G. White and a native of Norfolk, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, in a 
hospital.

He retired in 1970 from owning and operating a B.P. gasoline service station in 
Virginia Beach.

He was a member of Virginia Beach Civic League and a board member of the 
Virginia Beach Branch, National Association for the Advancement of Colored 
People.

Also surviving are a son, George Edward Grimstead of Washington;  and two 
sisters, Mrs. Maggie Taylor of Norfolk and Mrs. Louise H. Watford of Virginia 
Beach.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 8, in Mt. Olive Baptist Church by the 
Rev. H. T. Myers.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, with Riddick Funeral 
Service in charge.
