The Virginian Pilot Monday October 10, 1955
Miss Rosa F. White, age 78 years, daughter of the late John Richard and Mrs. 
Julia Degge White, died Saturday at 11 p.m. at the residence of her niece, Mrs. 
Irving L. Fuller, 4 Douglas Drive, Hilton Village, Warwick.
She was a native of Gloucester County, a former resident of Norfolk for 50 years 
and had resided in Hilton Village for the past 12 months.
For many years and until her retirement some time ago, Miss White was a 
bookkeeper for Stephenson and Cooke, rea estate and insurance firm, of Norfolk. 
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. A.B. McPherson, of Washington, D.C. and 
several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Fuller, of Hilton Village, with whom 
she has resided for the past year.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at noon, by 
the Rev C.A. Turner, Jr., pastor of Larchmont Methodist Church, of which Miss 
White was a member.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
