 Virginian Pilot July 14, 1903
 The funeral of Mrs. Sarah H. White, who passed away very suddenly at her home 
in Oakdale Saturday night at a late hour, took place from the home yesterday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. P.S.C.. Davis, pastor of South Norfolk Baptist 
Church, officiating.
Mrs. White was the widow of the late J.H. White, of Perquimans County, N.C. and 
was 65 years old.  She was a communicant of South Norfolk Baptist Church and was 
a consistent and ardent worker in the church.
These children survive her:  Mrs. D.P. White of Elizabeth City, N.C., Mrs. W.T. 
Abbott and Miss Rosa White, of Oakdale and Mr. J. Frank White, of Berkley.
The interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery.
