Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 22, 1922

Henry Baker White, 68 years old, died at the home of his daughters, Mrs. T.H 
Parron, and others, at Virginia Avenue, Willoughby Beach, at 5:50 o'clock 
yesterday morning after a brief illness.  Mr. White was a son of the late 
T.T. and Mrs. Mary Bateman White, Perquimans County, N.C., but had made his 
home in this section more than fifty years.  He was engaged in the barber 
business in South Norfolk for a long term of years.  The following children 
survive him: two step-sons, C.H. Casey, Portsmouth and E.C. Casey, Rosemont, 
Norfolk County; Mrs. T.H. Parron, Mrs. A.B. Powell, Mrs. A.W. Shelton, 
Willoughby Beach; Mrs. W.C. Jones, Newport News; and T.T. White of Berkley. 
The funeral will be conducted at the residence of his son, T.T. White, 324 
Maple Avenue, at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor 
of the South Norfolk Christian Church, assisted by Rev. T.H. Dimmock, pastor 
of Armstrong Memorial Church.  Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia 
Cemetery.

Willoughby Beach, Norfolk County, Virginia, Friday morning, July 21, 1922, 
at 5:50 o'clock, HENRY BAKER WHITE, son of the late T.T. and Mrs. Mary 
Bateman White, aged 68 years and 4 days.
The funeral will take place at the residence of his son, T.T. White, 324 
Maple Avenue, Berkley, SUNDAY AFTERNOON, July 23, at 4 o'clock.  Friends of 
the family are respectfully invited to attend.  The interment will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
