NORFOLK - Mary White, 62, of 726 W. 28th St., a native of Raleigh, N.C., died
Wednesday in her home.

She had retired from a job at Walter H. Taylor Elementary School after 19 years. She
was a member of Holy Light Church of Deliverance.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin White; three daughters, Deloris Hill and Mary
Nowell, both of Norfolk, and Gladys Moghadamfrad of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five sons,
Alvin White, Calvin White, Emanual White and Linell White, all of Norfolk, and Eric
White of Japan; and 15 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Twilight Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel,
by the Rev. Lloyd P. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon Sunday. The family will assemble at 1 p.m. Tuesday at
the residence.
