NORFOLK - Mrs. Hattie Barden White of 2709 Pioneer Ave., the widow of John 
White, died Monday in a hospital.

A native of Durham, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Mrs. Mollie Sidney 
Barden.

Surviving are two sons, Lewis A. Barden of Chesapeake and Joseph Barden of 
Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-
grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family will be at her home.
