Virginian Pilot August 22, 1986

Myrtle Lane White, 93, of the 2400 block of Haywood Ave., died Aug. 21, 1986, in 
a hospital.
Mrs. White, a South Norfolk native, was the widow of Leon F. White Sr. and a 
member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Myrtle Cahoon and Emma Reece, both of 
Chesapeake and Geraldine Jones of Reidsville, N.C.; a son, Leon F. White Jr. of 
Kill Devil Hills; two sisters, Helen Overton of Chesapeake and Emma Fulford of 
Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-
grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Graham Funeral Home by the 
Revs. Dan Jones and Nelson Hodges.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Norfolk.  The family will be at the residence.
