Mary Kathleen Rudolph White, 66, died Feb. 19, 1998, in her residence.

She was born Feb. 15, 1932. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late 
Joseph John Rudolph and Kathleen Caton Rudolph and was predeceased by her husband, 
James White. She was a member of The Church of the Sacred Heart.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Rudolph Payan and Constance Kathleen Payan; 
a son, Herbert Monk Payan; a grandchild, James Seth Payan; and a brother, Joseph 
George Rudolph.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, by Father John 
Dorgan at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions 
may be made to The Church of the Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen, 520 Graydon Ave., 
Norfolk, Va. 23507. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, is handling 
arrangements.
