Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 16, 1919

The body of Mrs. Connie White, aged 43 years, who died in the upper section of the 
state, arrived yesterday. Mrs. White was a daughter of the late Hardy and Mrs. 
Martha Perkins White, Halifax County, N.C., but had lived in this section about 
twenty-three years, where she was well known and esteemed.
The funeral service will be conducted at the residence of her sister-in-law, Mrs. 
E.C. White, 407 Chestnut Street, this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. S.J. Rattin, 
pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
