Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 5, 1918

Mrs. Mary S. White, aged 63 years, wife of H. Baker White, died yesterday 
morning at 11:15 o'clock at St. Christopher's Hospital, after a lingering 
illness.
The deceased was a daughter of the late James and Mrs. Nancy Whitehurst 
Woodhouse, of Princess Anne County, but had been a resident of Lakeside Park, 
South Norfolk, more than twenty years.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Charles Casey, 
Portsmouth and E.C. Casey, Rosemont; Mrs. W.C. Jones, Newport News; Thomas T. 
White, Berkley; Mrs. T.H. Parron, Mrs. A.B. Powell and Mrs. A.W. Shelton, 
Lakeside.
The deceased was well known and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. 
The funeral services will be conducted at the above residence Sunday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
