Virginian Pilot Saturday December 22, 1956

Rupert Earl White, 51, husband of Mrs. Audrey Thomas White and son of the late 
Trotman and Mrs. Lucy Leary White died suddenly yesterday at 4 a.m.
He was a native of Edenton, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 
years, residing at 2540 S. Military Highway.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. Raymond Vaughan and 
Mrs. Beatrice Karten, both of Norfolk, and a half-brother, John White of 
Baltimore. 
Mr. White was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, tomorrow 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
