The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark September 10, 1925
Roland Starke White, aged 23, son of Gertrude Cooper and the late Samuel 
White, 
died at 4 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital.  He was a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.  Besides his mother he is survived by one 
sister, 
Mrs. John Lee Turner; one brother, Samuel R. White, and his grandmother, Mrs. 
Sallie C. White, all of this city.  Funeral services will be held at the 
residence, 2715 Vimy Ridge avenue, Fairmount Park, tomorrow afternoon at 3 
o'clock.  Rev. D.W. Howard, D.D., of St. Luke's Church, will conduct the 
services.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
