White, aged 84, widow of William White, died in a local hospital at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning. She was a native of Eastern Shore, Va., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 65 years. Two sons, Obey W. and William White, and 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren survive her. Funeral services will be held at the H. D. Oliver funeral apartments, 619 East Freemason Street, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. D. W. Howard, D.D., rector of St. Luke's Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. ______________________________________________________ Virginian‑Pilot & Norfolk Landmark, Jan. 28, 1927 Mrs. Sallie A. White—Funeral services for Mrs. White were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at H. D. Oliver's funeral apartments, Freemason Street, the Rev. D. W. Howard, D.D., rector of St. Luke's Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were William W. White, Jr., Samuel B. White, B. Brigstock, David Peebles, A. W. Brewer, Jr., and J. N. Arline.
