NORFOLK—John Webber White, 69, of 1041 W. 41st St., died Tuesday at 4 p.m. in 
Veterans Administration Hospital, Kecoughtan. 

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of William and Mrs. Susan White and the 
husband of Mrs. Ava Huff White. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired 
employee of the City of Norfolk. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, George Perdue of Bay St. 
Louis, Miss., and Howlett Perdue of Barstow, Calif. 

The body was taken to Twiford Funeral Home.
