White, died at the residence of her son‑in‑law, B. G. Brigstock, 1008 West Olney Road, yesterday evening at 6:40 o'clock. Mrs. White was a native and life‑long resident of Norfolk. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Samuel Sykes; two daughters, Mrs. B. G. Brigstock and Mrs. Logan Branham; three sons, William E., George N., and John W. White; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, all of Norfolk. Services will be conducted at H. D. Oliver's funeral apartments, 610‑12 East Freemason Street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. E. P. Miner, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. ______________________________________________________ Norfolk Ledger‑Dispatch, Aug. 3, 1931 Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Elizabeth White, widow of William T. White, whose death occurred Thursday evening, were held at H. D. Oliver's funeral apartments, 610‑12 East Freemason Street, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. E. P. Miner, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, officiating. There was a large attendance, and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with clusters of gladioli, asters, and ferns. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were: R. H. Newton, W. P. Sanderlin, Capt. Charles Riley, Capt. William Bailey, Capt. George Dudley, and W. C. Herring.
