Norfolk Virginian March 9, 1898

Mrs. Annie L. White, wife of Mr. James D. White, died yesterday morning at 5:10 
o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Almeda White, No. 427 Corprew Avenue, aged 
26 years. She was taken sick several weeks ago in Churchland. Her babe, a day or 
so old, which also died yesterday morning, will be buried with her. The funeral 
will take place at 11 o'clock today. Mrs. White, mother of the deceased, lost 
another daughter, Miss Mary F. White, aged 18 years by death on the 25th of last 
month, and has another child now sick.
