Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, February 1, 1998
Gladys E. White of the 7500 block of Dakota St. died Jan. 28, 1998, in a local
hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Floyd White Sr. and a homemaker. Mrs.
White was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and the Autumn Leaves Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Little, Sharon Barnes, Lavonne White,
all of Norfolk; a son, Floyd White Jr. of Norfolk; six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Mount Zion Baptist Church by the
Rev. Willie McNair. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive
friends at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Graves
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
