White departed this life at the home of his son-in-law, Arthur Bainbridge, 18 James street, New Year's Eve night, in the 64th year of his age. The deceased was born in New York State, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 45 years. He was a member of the Marine Engineers Association and of the Jr. O.U.A. Mechanics. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. E.P. Miner of the Episcopal Church. The remains will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery,, Berkley ward. **************************************************************** The remains of the late Walter White, who died at his home in Norfolk, proper, were interred in Magnolia Cemetery yesterday. He was a marine engineer and the funeral was largely attended.
