Don Whitehead of 709 Avenue A was given a funeral service Saturday at Bank 
Street Baptist Church, where he  held membership.  Mr. Whitehead died Feb. 7 at 
his home.

The Rev. J. B. Henderson officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

Mr. Whitehead was a native of Rocky Mount, NC.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. 
Anna Whitehead;  three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Smith of Rocky Mount, Miss Bessie 
Whitehead and Mrs. Maggie Harris of Wilson, NC;  and two brothers, Jesse 
Whitehead of Norfolk and Charlie Whitehead of Philadelphia.
