Miss Betty Louise Whitehurst, 1947 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School,
died in Norfolk on Sept. 4 following a short illness. She also attended Norfolk
Division of Virginia State College.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Estelle Green; step-father Milton Green,
grandmother Mrs. Luanna Farr; grandfather, Charlie Whitehurst; father, Thomas
Whitehurst; five sisters, three brothers, and other relatives.
