Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - March 12, 1993
Bessie Foxwell Whitehurst, 102, died March 10, 1993, in her home. 
Mrs. Whitehurst was born in Yorktown. She was the widow of Earl Whitehurst and was 
a member of Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Bethany Truelove of Norfolk. 
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. James Bradshaw. Burial will be in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. 
today.
