Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 2, 1924
Tainior C. Whitehurst, aged 65 years, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of 
his daughter, Mrs E. H. Baines, 931 Sheldon avenue.  He is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Elizabeth Whitehurst, and six children, W.L., F.E. and T.W. Whitehurst and 
Mrs. S.C. Beasley, Mrs. P.L. Hodges and Mrs. E.H. Baines and eleven grandchildren. 

Mr. Whitehurst was a native of Princess Anne County.  He was a member of Calla 
Lodge No. 28, I.O.O.F. and of Industry Council No. 1, Order Fraternal Americans.  
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock at Park Avenue 
Baptist Church.
