Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, April 11, 1992 
Horace Allen Whitehurst Jr. of the 7000 block of Sewells Point Road, a truck
driver, died April 8, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Whitehurst was born in Norfolk. He was employed with Papco Oil Co. for 15
years.

Survivors include a daughter, Latrese D. Whitehurst; a son, Horace Allen; and
his mother, Audrey Whitehurst, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Sheila Davis of New
York City and Patricia Simmons of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Douglas
Whitehurst of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at 2239 Harrell Ave.
