Virginian Pilot June 25, 1903

WHITEHURST - At his residence, No. 418 Baxter Avenue, Wednesday, June 24th, 
1903, at 1 a.m., JAMES S. WHITEHURST in the 38th year of his age.
Funeral from the above residence THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock, 
June 25th, 1903.  Friends of the family invited to attend.

The remains of the late James S. Whitehurst, a highly respected and esteemed 
citizen, were interred in Elmwood Cemetery yesterday afternoon.  The funeral 
took place at the late residence of the deceased.  The services were 
conducted by the Rev. Mr. Greene.
