The many friends of Mrs. Hattie A. Whitehurst, wife of Mr. John T. Whitehurst,
will learn with sorrow of her demise, which occurred at her home, No. 345 Chapel
street, at 9:45 p.m. yesterday in the 39th year of her age.  The deceased was a
most estimable woman and highly esteemed in the community.  The funeral will be
held from the residence at 5 o’clock Monday afternoon.
