Mr. Frank P. Whitehurst, aged 44 years, died Saturday night at 11 o'clock, at
his late residence, corner of Chapel street and Princess avenue.  Deceased was a
well-known citizen.  His funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the house.
 The services were conducted by Rev. J.B. Merritt, and the interment was in
Elmwood Cemetery.  The pall-bearers were as follows:  Citizens - Messrs. C.E.
Merrell, P. McQuillen, B.P. Sale, Frank Creekmur, C.K. Walker and H.W. Smith. 
Red Men- B. Creekmur and B.F. Rosson.
