Virginian-Pilot, December 17, 1907
Miss Sarah A. Whitehurst of Norfolk passed away in Baltimore, Md., Saturday 
night. The deceased had been in declining health for some time, but her death 
was an unexpected event to her family and friends. The funeral will be held 
from the residence of her brother, R. W. Whitehurst, 129 Bossevain Avenue, 
Ghent, at noon today. Miss Whitehurst was born in Princess Anne County, but had 
been a resident of Norfolk nearly all of her life.
