Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 9, 1922

Mrs. Emma V. Whitehurst, aged 69 years, died in the home of her son, C.L. 
Whitehurst, 44 Tollingwood Avenue, at 3:30 this morning after a long illness. 
She is survived by one son, C.L. Whitehurst, a sister, Miss Annie Widgeon and a 
brother,  G.L. Widgeon.
The funeral service will be held in the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church tomorrow 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. R.D. Stevenson will conduct the services. Burial 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

this (Tuesday) morning, May 9, 1922, at 3:30 o'clock, Mrs. EMMA V. WHITEHURST, 
aged 69 years.
Funeral services from the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church TOMORROW (Wednesday) 
AFTERNOON at 3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment 
Magnolia Cemetery.
