Virginian-Pilot, Sat., July 28, 1906
John T Whitehurst passed away at the home of his brother-in-law, G S Wilkins, 
Princess Anne County, at 9 o'clock Thursday night in the fifty-fifth year of 
his age. The deceased was the son of the late H T and Sarah F Whitehurst. The 
funeral service will take place at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, at 3 
o'clock this afternoon.
