Norfolk - James William White Sr., 69, of 106 W. 31st street, received funeral 
rites Monday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. H. T. Myers officiated.

A native of Norfolk, he was a deacon of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a retired 
sand-blaster.

He was a son of Thomas and Mrs. Cora White.

He is survived by two sons, Army S.Sgt. James W. White Jr., of Okinawa and 
Albert L. White of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Terry of Norfolk; three 
sisters,Mrs. Rosetta Trotter of Detroit, Mrs. Helen Hawkins of New York, and 
Mrs. Corine Bridgers of Norfolk; and six grandchildren.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge of 
arrangements.
