Norfolk Virginian April 9, 1896

WHITTEMORE - At the residence of her mother, 39 North Brewer St., Tuesday, April 
7th, 1896, at 7:20 p.m., VERONICA GERTRUDE, daughter of Elizabeth and the late 
Park Whittemore, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with Christian 
piety.
The funeral will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church THIS (Thursday) 
MORNING AT 9:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Miss Veronica G. Whittemore, who died at her mother's residence, 
No. 39 Brewer Street, Wednesday morning, was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church 
yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock, mass being celebrated by Rev. Father Doherty.
The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
