Virginian Pilot December 23, 1990

Ann Byrd Waller Whittemore, 93, of the 600 block of Boissevain Ave., died Dec. 
22, 1990, in her home.
Mrs. Whittemore, a native of Whitehall in Gloucester, retired from Hampton Roads 
Army Terminals and was co-owner of Brown and Waller Dress Shop. She was a member 
of Christ and St. Luke's Church and Colonial Danes of America.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas M. Whittemore of Virginia Beach and H. Waller 
Whittemore of Norfolk; three sisters, Sally T. Luce of Pasadena, Calif., and 
Katharine C. Waller and Fannie W. Parker, both of Norfolk; six grandchildren; 
and six great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Beverly D. Tucker Jr. Memorial donations may be made to the church. 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
