Miss Whittle, whose family has been closely associated with the growth and pr progress of Norfolk for many years, was a daughter of the late Capt. William Co Conway and Mrs. Elizabeth Calvert Page Whittle. She was a sister of the late Wi William Conway Whittle, Jr., and is survived by three sisters, Misses Elizabeth S. S. and Mona Whittle, and Mrs. James C Dabney; three nieces, Misses Georgiana C. Wh Whittle and Betty Page and Beverly Dabney, and three nephews, William Conway Wh Whittle III, Beverly Randolph Whittle and William Minor Dabney. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence Saturday at noon by the R Rev. W. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke’s Church, of which Miss W Whittle was a member. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
