She was the widow of Capt. Arthur M. Whitton, a native of Adelaide, Australia, and a resident of Norfolk for the past twenty years. She was a member of the Church of the Advent, of Ocean View Chapter No. 34, Order Eastern Star, and Fitzhugh Lee Auxiliary Spanish War Veterans. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Whitton Oldham, and one son, Arthur M. Whitton, both of Norfolk. The body will arrive in Norfolk this morning and will be taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted. Funeral services for Mrs. Whitton, widow of Capt. Arthur M. Whitton, USN, who died in Baltimore Sunday morning, will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover Avenue, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. W. C. Whitaker, rector of the Church of the Advent, and the Rev. George S. Gresham, rector of the Church of the Ascension, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
