Whitworth, wife of Captain J.S. Whitworth, of Berkley, departed this life at Dr. Lomax Gwathmey's hospital, in this city, at 10 o'clock last night, aged 53 years. Mrs. Whitworth had been in feeble health for nearly two years and about four weeks ago her condition became so alarming that she was removed to Dr. Gwathmey's hospital, where she could be under his constant treatment, and with the hope that it might restore her to health, but despite all efforts to accomplish the much desired result, she passed away at the hour mentioned. She was a most estimable lady and greatly beloved by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Captain Bennett, Mrs. Calcott and Miss Rosa Whitworth. The funeral will be solemnized from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Calcott, Maple avenue, Berkley at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. ********************************************************************* The funeral of Mrs. J.S.
