He resided at 929 Sheppard Avenue, Colonial Heights, at the time of his death. He is survived only by his wife. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and of the Holy Name Society of that church. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending funeral arrangements. ******************************************************************** ALEXANDER GORDON WHYTE Funeral services for Mr. Whyte, who died Monday, were conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church yesterday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Carlos Poole. Present in the sanctuary were the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cannon, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Carroll T. Dozier, Father Urban Lux, O.S.B., and Father Damion, O.S.B. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were John E. Adair, Charles A. Francis, William T. Lee, Milton E. Jarvis, Wilkins L. DeLoatch, Ernest R. Sanderlin, George G. Wilkins, Robert A. Barco and Robert J. Amory. Active pallbearers were Clifton Stokes, J. Anthony Butt, James Barbour, Virgil Price, Michael Sario and Harrie O. Pearson.
